Windsor House Saved/Saving 70 State Street
An 1840 Greek Revival hotel was threatened with demolition in 1971 on the heels of three Asher Benjamin-designed buildings - all on Main Street in Windsor. The hotel was saved; it is back in private ownership and Historic Windsor has moved on to its current building project.
